At the heart of Wild Insights India lies a deep passion for wildlife and a commitment to conservation through tourism. Founded by Jagat Chaturvedi, a naturalist and wildlife guide, Wild Insights India was born out of years of close interactions with animals and deep immersion in the wilderness—particularly with the majestic Royal Bengal Tiger.
Jagat’s love for nature, especially tigers and their prey, is matched by his desire to improve the lives of local communities living near wildlife reserves. His mission: to promote peaceful coexistence between humans and wildlife by creating awareness, employment, and respect for nature.
The Vision: Let the Tiger roam free
Wild Insights India was established with the aim of showcasing the beauty of India’s rich biodiversity—especially the rare Royal Bengal Tiger—while providing sustainable livelihood opportunities for the local population. By training and employing local youth in wildlife tourism, the initiative helps them build skills, earn an income, and take pride in protecting the natural environment.
Many local communities around reserves rely heavily on forest land for survival, unintentionally encroaching on tiger habitats. By offering
alternative employment through tourism, Wild Insights India helps reduce this pressure, giving tigers the space they need to thrive. Jagat believes that when villagers are empowered economically and educated about conservation, they will come to respect and protect the very animals they once saw as threats.
From the Heart of the Jungle
Jagat Chaturvedi was born and raised in the Bandhavgarh Wildlife Reserve in Madhya Pradesh, India. Years of guiding and studying wildlife have given him a deep understanding of the delicate balance between humans and animals. This insight fuels his commitment to protect India’s natural heritage—especially the Royal Bengal Tiger, the apex predator and guardian of the ecosystem
